About Pricing
All paintings are reasonably priced starting at $100.00 for unframed paintings. There is an additional charge for framing. Each painting price is based on complexity and size.
Most original paintings available as Giclee Prints
"Giclee print" is a fairly new printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks and in a watercolorist print, on watercolor paper. The Giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
Giclee prints are good for artists that do not want to mass produce their work,
but want to reproduce their art as needed, or on-demand. Once an image is
digitally archived, additional reproductions can be made with minimal effort and
reasonable cost. Digital files will not deteriorate and can be readily stored.
Giclee printing images can be reproduced to almost any size for their
customers.
The quality of the Giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin
printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and
photographic galleries.
Commission work
Prices vary with size of painting and complexity of project. Photo shoot is included in the price. A deposit is required. Paintings can be of your pet, child, favorite place or photo. Please contact me for details of your request.
